Limelight Learning's 10 module sales training course (plus optional one day in-house course) begins with two psychometric assessments which will indicate the type of selling to which you may be best suited. For instance, someone who is timid is unlikely to succeed in double-glazing sales! However, they may be very good at following through, doing the technical stuff such as measuring up etc and pushing at a door that has been opened by a more assertive type.

Another example might be where someone does not score particularly well at Reasoning. In that circumstance, a more predictable market/product would be more appropriate than one where it is essential to be able to think on your feet.
