Thomas International has a range of psychometric assessments and psychometric tests that use plain English not psychobabble. They are designed for effective use by hard-pressed working directors and managers who are not psychologists.

We would particularly recommend that anyone in a management position takes a serious look at the Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) assessment process that measures work-style behaviours, a person's working strengths and possible limitations, areas that are trainable and a whole lot more; and the General Intelligence Assessment (GIA) which measures an employee's mental horsepower. The two combined give powerful insights when recruiting, training, developing, retaining, promoting and so forth - they take guesswork out and put measurement in.
